Winston-Salem is in North Carolina, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Winston-Salem follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I was very pleased with with the food. They gave a good amount, which made the price worth it. One of the employees was getting off from work and he went back in and got a menu for my passenger because she had a dog with her and she couldn't go in. He was very polite and even though he was going home he still was willing to help. Thank you so much young man. Sorry I did not get your name

Many reviews say the food is tasteless, but I disagree. Moravian cuisine focuses on natural ingredients and lighter seasoning, unlike much Southern or soul food that can be very salty. This place represents Moravian culture in Old Salem well. The Moravian roast beef was tender and lightly seasoned, the chicken pie was juicy without being soupy, and the fried chicken was crispy with mild seasoning. The vegetables stood out β€” flavorful from the ham but not salty. However, I’m still giving 4 stars because the service was very slow, especially for a 2 PM visit when our party was the only table in the restaurant

Came in the weekend before Easter around 11am they were done serving breakfast cool..but let's get into the lack of attention from the little house on the prairie dress wearing servers honey..we are here today and the SAME thing the place was empty by the way and it took 45 minutes to get our food in an EMPTY establishment. Our original waiter didnt know the breakfast menu to get pricing correct. We waited and when we got the food it was cold ..never coming back unacceptable . The only thing that came out hot was my grits and my salmon patties which were mainly flour by the way everything else COLD. AlSO note a couple came in weren't waited on properly & decided to leave.

I Google this location and I almost couldn't find it. I passed it twice before I decided to park and walk. It had another name on the front. When I walked in I was amazed. It was a house from way back in the days when time was different. The staff had on these uniform that are long black dress. I initially didn't get a good vibe. Thank goodness my server was friendly and calm my nerves. I was not aware I was in Old Winston-Salem where they conduct tours of how this area lived years ago. They are located across from a all girl school that has been around for years. I order a catfish dinner. The fish was good, the sides were OK. It looks like they have outdoor seating for the warmer weather. It is a unique place.

Look closely at the picture below. There are 4 pieces of meat from ox tails and a plate full of rice, gravy, and bones that were completely cleaned…all for $23. My son and I waited in their foyer for the longest before one of the young ladies acknowledged us. We arrived on a Sunday about an hour and a half before they closed (6p-Even though their website said they are open until 9p) We finally placed our order and waited forever to receive our food from the unfriendly young lady (who told us there wasn’t anymore rice when we ordered)…a total of $84 for 3 meals. The okra pieces were not cooked well and tasted like I was biting into straw. You saw the ox tails. The cabbage and Mac n cheese were ok. And the sweet potato pie tasted like egg custard. It was NOT a good 1st experience and I regret we chose to go there.
